Wendy Black Farley is retired from nearly 20 years as a school counselor in New England. Additional career experience included working as a victim-witness advocate in the criminal court system and in various administrative roles at local colleges. She has been married for 49 years, is the mother of two grown sons, and the grandmother of a teen-aged grandson and teen-aged granddaughter.
The impetus for writing is a desire for people of faith to “act justly, love mercy,” and to “walk humbly” with the Lord. (See Micah 6.)
